Hi! I'm Mrs. Lackman. I am originally from Glendive, MT. I graduated from MSU-Billings with a double major in elementary and Special Education. After student teaching, I moved to Hysham, MT and later married a beet farmer. We now have two children, Gracie and Paycen. I have always wanted to get my masters in special Ed., but for now being a mom keeps me pretty busy! I look forward to the day they get to attend Custer Public Schools.
This will be my seventh year teaching. It will be my second year teaching 7th grade English and my 7th year being the special Ed. (and Title 1) teacher. When I began teaching at Custer, I immediately felt supported and confident that it was going to be a great place to help young minds grow. Not only are the students great, but the staff is more like a family. I feel lucky to have found a job that makes going to work not feel like "work." My goal every year is always to create positive relationships and provide my students with a fun yet effective education. I believe in celebrating even the smallest amount of growth and hope my students always know how proud I am of them. Every year I am leanring alongside my students and can't wait to see what this year will teach me. GO REBELS!
